The Inside View
What do you enjoy most about your job?
“It sounds trite coming from anyone in the press, but most of us actually got into journalism because we believe it is a vital part of a well functioning democracy. So I love that I feel my job matters in some small way. We are doing our best to give people information they need and in my job, as Executive Producer of Worldwide Exchange, we are giving our viewers a share in a global conversation, covering the biggest stories in business and finance. We bring together our anchors and production teams in Singapore, London and New York and cover the global implications of the news from those three centres and beyond with our reporters in 15 countries. And that’s the other thing I love about my job: pulling together a global team can be insanely complicated and that makes it very, very satisfying especially when we all work as a well oiled machine to make great TV. It’s just so much fun.”

What is it like to work at CNBC?
“CNBC’s international operation is an awe inspiring business to work in. Teams in Europe, Asia, and the US collaborate tirelessly across time zones to deliver essential business & financial news as markets open and close to an avid worldwide audience. This takes talent, and creates an infectious buzz about the office, home to our CNBC European studios. This buzz makes my role devising, selling, and activating advertising solutions on CNBC platforms deeply fulfilling, and uniquely challenging.”
